How it works
Every piece is made especially for you. Here’s what happens from the moment you order.
Send us your measurements
Once you've placed your order, send us your measurements via email or through our contact form. We'll confirm receipt and let you know if we need anything else.
We create your piece
Your order goes into production. Each piece is cut and sewn by hand, using the fabrics and finishing we’re known for. This typically takes 1–3 weeks.
Quality check & dispatch
Before your piece leaves us, it goes through a final quality check. Once we’re happy, it’s carefully packaged and dispatched via Royal Mail.
Delivered to your door
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. UK delivery takes 1–2 working days. Your piece arrives ready to wear.
Orders & made to order
What does made to order mean?
Every Alice Vita Oliver piece is made specifically for you after you place your order. This means there's no excess stock and no waste — your piece is cut, sewn and finished once we receive your order. Please allow 1–3 weeks for production before dispatch.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Because your piece goes into production quickly, we ask that you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order if you need to make changes or cancel. After that, we may not be able to make amendments. Email us at alicevitaoliver@gmail.com as soon as possible.
How long will my order take?
Production takes 1–3 weeks depending on the piece. Once dispatched, standard UK delivery takes 1–2 working days. You'll receive an email confirmation when your order ships with tracking information.
Sizing
How do I know which size to order?
Each product page includes specific size guidance. As a general rule, AVO pieces are designed to drape and move with the body — if you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Our size guide has full measurements to help you choose. Still unsure? Email us and we'll advise.
Do you offer custom sizing?
We do offer custom sizing for certain pieces. Get in touch at alicevitaoliver@gmail.com with your measurements and the item you're interested in and we'll let you know what's possible.
What if my item doesn't fit?
As pieces are made to order, we're unable to accept returns for fit alone — so please do check the size guide carefully before ordering. If there is a fault or error on our part, we will of course make it right. Email us within 7 days of receiving your order.
Shipping & returns
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship within the UK and internationally. UK standard shipping is £5. International shipping costs and timelines vary by destination — these will be calculated at checkout.
What is your returns policy?
Because every piece is made to order, we're unable to accept returns for change of mind. If your item arrives with a fault or is incorrect, please contact us within 7 days at alicevitaoliver@gmail.com and we'll arrange a resolution.
